Please note - this is genuine authentic meteorite. Each set of dust is different and may vary in dust size and color. Meteorite does contain nickel and iron, though it is not in an area that comes in contact easily with your skin. But if you have sensitivities to these metals, please be aware that the authentic meteorite does contain these elements. Cute but would have been better if the grains were free to move instead of stuck in position.
Thanks for your feedback! The meteorite dust does move freely, just slowly. As it is slightly magnetic in nature, it tends to clump together. But with wear and the natural jostling it receives, it does slowly fall into the lower chamber. This design choice was purposeful so the necklace has dynamic movement for a while instead of the meteorite lying lifeless in the bottom chamber at all times. Hope this helps clarify the intention

Bought this as a gift, and they loved it! My only complaint is that the dust got stuck. I don't know if it was just my order or if other people had that problem, but it was overall a great product.
